This Privacy Policy applies to the Quickbytes Education mobile application, also known as QB Edu, available on the Apple App Store.
At Quickbytes Education, we are deeply committed to protecting your privacy and personal data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use the QB Edu app, and explains your rights in relation to that data.

- Password: Stored securely as a cryptographic hash; we do not store your plain-text password.
- IP address: Collected for security, fraud prevention, and analytics.
- Account photo URL: If you choose to upload a profile photo or if one is provided by your sign-in provider.
- Firebase User ID (UID): A unique identifier assigned by Firebase Authentication for your account.
- Points and Progress Data: Information related to your quiz performance, scores, and learning progress within the app.
1.2 Device & Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with the app:
- Device Type and Operating System Version: To ensure app compatibility and optimize performance.
- App Usage Patterns and Session Time: To understand how features are used and improve user experience.
- Crash Logs: Collected via Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose and fix app stability issues.
- Push Notification Tokens: Unique identifiers for delivering push notifications to your device.
- Ad Interactions: Data on your interactions with advertisements displayed in the app.
1.3 Analytics & Tracking Technologies
We use the following services for analytics and personalized content:
- Firebase Analytics: To monitor app engagement, user demographics, and app performance. This helps us understand how our app is used and where to make improvements.
- Google AdMob: For displaying in-app advertisements. Google AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) and approximate location for personalized advertising.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- To Provide and Personalize Services: Delivering quiz content, tracking your progress, and tailoring your in-app experience.
- Authentication and Account Management: To securely authenticate users via Firebase and manage your account details.
- Process In-App Purchases: Facilitating subscriptions and one-time purchases through Apple StoreKit.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Analyzing app usage, identifying bugs through crash logs, and enhancing app functionality.
- Communication: Sending essential service-related messages. With your explicit consent, we may also send optional promotional updates about new quizzes, features, or offers.
- Push Notifications: Sending relevant notifications regarding your progress, new content, or announcements, based on your notification preferences.
- Personalized Advertising: To display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob. Before using your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising, we will ask for your explicit consent through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework. You can change your preference at any time in your device settings.
- Legal Compliance: Complying with legal obligations, enforcing our terms of service, and protecting our rights and the rights of other users.
3. Third-Party Services Used
We integrate with the following third-party services, which may process limited user data in accordance with their own privacy policies:
- Firebase (Google LLC): For authentication, real-time database (Firestore), cloud messaging, analytics, and crash reporting.
- Google AdMob (Google LLC): For serving advertisements within the app.
- Apple StoreKit (Apple Inc.): For handling in-app subscriptions and purchases.
- Apple Sign In (Apple Inc.): An optional login method that facilitates secure and private sign-up.

4. Ads & Personalized Tracking
We display ads within QB Edu through Google AdMob. These ads may be personalized based on:
- Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA): Your device’s advertising ID.
- Approximate Location: Derived from your IP address or other device settings.
- Usage Data: Your interactions within the app.

- For Legal Reasons: If required by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe it’s necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Quickbytes Education, our users, or others.
- In the Event of a Business Transfer: If Quickbytes Education is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, provided the acquiring entity commits to protect your privacy in accordance with this policy.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include:
- Firebase Authentication: Securely manages user accounts and credentials.
- Firestore Security Rules: Protect your data stored in our database.
- HTTPS Encryption: Encrypts data transmitted between your device and our servers.

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services, fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Once your data is no longer required, we will securely delete or anonymize it.

9. Account Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your QB Edu account and associated personal data at any time.
- In-App Deletion: You can initiate account deletion directly within the app by navigating to

>Delete Account
. - Email Request: Alternatively, you can email us at support@quickbytesedu.com with your account deletion request.
Upon successful deletion request, we will remove:
- Your authentication credentials.
- All quiz and progress data linked to your account.
- Any feedback you have submitted and your profile photo (if applicable).
- Associated push notification tokens and any other personal data that is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
Please note that some data may be retained for a limited period if required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., audit logs, anti-fraud measures) before final deletion.
10. Children’s Privacy
QB Edu is not intended for and does not knowingly collect personal data from users under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal data without your consent, please contact us at support@quickbytesedu.com. We will take steps to remove such information from our systems and terminate the child’s account.
11. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
